I’m currently advancing my expertise with a Level 5 counselling children and young people course at Cara Counselling Training.
My humanistic approach, rooted in person-centred therapy, incorporates elements of transactional analysis and attachment theories. In addition, I’ve done additional qualifications specifically with CPD in eating disorders, anger management, and trauma work.
With over 20 years of experience in a relational environment, offering physical holistic treatments, I’ve transitioned into
counselling, starting from Level 2 in 2016 and progressively working my way up from level 2.
I’ve gained valuable experience through agency placements, including working with adults on issues like low mood, self-esteem, anxiety,
and depression, as well as with children and young people aged 11 to 15 in a school setting.
As a counsellor, I consider it a privilege to hold a space for individuals to explore their inner world, offering empathy, compassion, and
support without imposing guidance or solutions.
My passion lies in witnessing the transformative journey of my clients as they gain insights and find their path to healing and wholeness.
I’m deeply committed to serving and supporting those who entrust me with their stories and struggles, and I’m honoured to be part of their process of self-awareness and self-discovery.
